Description

I don't remember a lot, but it seems I have fallen asleep while being with the creature. Though I know I should have gone home a long time ago, the napping in the forest felt strangely comforting. When I woke up, the creature was gone without a trace, but this was the last image on my camera. I guess it didn't want me to freeze in the cold. I wonder how it took the image??? ---- Mimikyu I ---- Mimikyu II ---- Mimikyu III

Originally, I wanted to capture Mimikyu on all the autumn leaves that was scattered on the ground, since it made for the perfect scenery. The issuse I had was that the trees were few and far between and there was not a lot of fallen leaves, given the weather still was pretty warm in the beginning of October. Most of the image would have been filled with green leaves if I took them there. Eventually, I found the dead tree and I figured that this fit Mimikyu's character and habitat a lot more. For this image, I have also used the "Generative Fill" feature in Photoshop. I had trouble finding a prompt where the program would generate exactly what I wanted, but I settled on something along the lines of "magical". Other than the orb-like objects, the image is still original.
