"I finally get to draw some Land Before Time stuff it been long fight and journey but finally getting to another fan art of my childhood and just want to say if you ever Don Bluth see this stuff I want to thank for everything you did and movies gave us and probably mean more than anything else."So yeah this is first in the first movie the Sharptooth or carnivore dinosaur in the franchise. I and yeah Land Before Time had a lot of movies after but first was little different given that it has no singing and had a sad scene which is hard to get through but that adds more care into whats happening. And I think Don Bluth didn't make the sequels which you'd think but sequels can always not be good as the original but it depends.
So hope this is nice big piece to keep Dinovember going I know I haven't been getting a lot out because Im taking my time and life of course has to come first.

I had a dream a couple of nights ago with a LBT-based subplot that I can barely recall! Was nice to see Littlefoot and Cera again though.

Well Im your able to see it Im going to say I need to do more Land Before Time stuff and also I had some possible characters to hopefully if it happens it involves fluffy sharptooth male raised by the feathery sharp claws and they start the "United Herds" and yeah mean no singing just storyline that would have a death or 2 but thats because I thought a bad herd causing trouble in the mysterious beyond, and yes I gotta draw the rest of the characters.

I admit; I always prefered 2D. I would honestly try it again if I ever got a good program to fill in-between frames.

Yeah I think they could still make money even if took longer to make sure they could make 3D designs to help speed character design but it just been all on 3D animation which is fine too but so common now.

I think anime has kept 2D somewhat relevant, at least. Disney never really looked back much for 2D since Home on the Range (admittedly a good movie to forget exists sometimes), and Bluth can't hold a company. Dreamworks and Illumination never really took that 2D plunge, and I don't think a movie like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? will EVER be made again, so I'd be betting that 2D would just need proof again in Western markets putside of anime. The talent's out there, just look at what Cuphead managed to make.

I think Disney now is just dead against making 2D these even if they're channel like Lion Guard is still 2D they'd pick the cheaper and less passionate way not to say any animators working for them are like that but the company itself more the case.

Oh, of course. This is the age of "think of the corporations" after all. Got to think of that revenue stream. Someone has to line Bob Iger's wallet. Couldn't just hire a few more animators to make a 2D project, or not work your own animators to the bone. It's sad, really. Hell, similar side, Game Freak said they couldn't make all Pokemon, and wanted to make lively animations. But they're so bloody understaffed and were dual projected through most of its development. Maybe invest in some more staff for the most valuable IP in the world? It's about the bottom line, not making quality products, and many consumers just accepting these changes blindly.

Yeah I want to go back to those days but I wanted to do some fanart and maybe come up with a movie that needs another Sharptooth like Chomper and probably no singing and maybe have 1 or 2 death scene which can be sad depending on which character but these can be new characters in my idea for the movie concept.
