Description Dudley is new-ish to our herd. We leased him off some lady who has only trail ridden him occasionally for years and he hadn't cantered in as many when we got him (at least, with a rider on him). He still hasn't made any friends. So, he galloped around by himself.

This is after being turned out for a month for winter vacation in a very big field

And this one is all blurry *sigh* but I thought it was cool anyway, and will move it to scraps later. The sun had all but gone down, and I still haven't figured out everything on my new Nikon.

lol, you're giving him too much credit He's one butt-ugly horse, if you ever saw his face properly. I hate to call any horse ugly... but Dudders really is, lol. He's an awful ride too. But he's fine personality wise. A little annoying and nosey when you muck his stall (he's always in the way, and always chewing on the rake handle). And then he can have the annoying habit of rearing up when you take him to get turned out, and he'll spook at things. I dunno, he's not well bred, he's oogly, and he's an air head that has not many manners and not much training under saddle, in a nutshell.

Here's Dudley, trying his very hardest to look handsome. He has this unfortunate face... it's very convex, if that's the right word. In profile, it's not straight, but his face actually curves outward. A lot. Poor guy. He's just oogly.

Again, such a beautiful picture! I love it. Would you mind if I print it out and use it as a reference? I will put in a link to your photo . . . if I ever really get the picture done. My daughter is getting married in less than 3 months, and I need to sew the dresses for the bridesmaids.

I will respect your wishes.

i love this shot- and dont worry about the bluriness its adds to it's appeal! and it's a better way to show just how fast the horse is moving, so i actually think it would't look as nice without it
