I'm not the greatest photographer ever, sorry. But here are some shots from my day at Keeneland.This is Express News winning race #5, and in the winner's circle, on Oct. 8, 2005. It was a $52,000 allowance race for 2 year olds. Express News is by Storm Cat, who god-like, out of a Forty Niner mare.

Your photographs make my heart pine for Keeneland. I visited over the summer when it was hot enough to kill you and there wasn't much going on at the tracks. Granted, I did get to tour the training barns and love on the horses... but nothing beats watching the thrill of the race. Thanks for capturing a little of it for me.
