I did this painting several years ago - maybe 5 - but I still love it
It is watercolor, 9" x 12", on cold pressed 100% cotton Aqvarelle Arches watercolor paper (this stuff is great).When I was young I was hooked on the Redwall series, and this was done with Redwall in mind. I always have preferred to keep "furries" as they are in nature as opposed to making them anthro. When making it, I completely made up his clothes and sword, as I still to this day don't know much at all about weaponry or clothing.
Oh, yeah, I might also mention that I absolutely love squirrels

Squirrels are one of my favourites from the redwall series as well. :3 You did a very good job on this. The colours are so soft, which gives the picture a very peaceful feeling.
