Description
This 16th century convent is one of my favourite places.
A sanctuary built among the rocks and the trees, for the religious Order of Friar Minor Capuchins.
Solitude and meditation was key for the eight monks who lived there.
I love the natural weathering and symbiosis with the environment.

Tive o "privilégio" de visitar o Convento dos Capuchos num dia em que a iluminação interior do espaço não estava a funcionar. Contava apenas com as velas e a luz natural que entrava pelas janelas. Ainda para mais era a única pessoa a visitar o local àquela hora. É uma das experiências mais estimulantes que guardo na minha memória

É um lugar único, sem dúvida. Nunca entendi o que tem lá q me atrai, mas sempre senti algo muito bom qd lá ia. Tive o privilégio de visitar à luz de vela e de lua cheia, muitas vezes sozinho. É um lugar tatuado na minha memória.
