That is an example of the essence of of life right there, present in that kid. He couldn't care less if the road is in good or bad shape. Even if that was a path made of mud, he'd still go and ride the bike always giving 100%, no matter how fast or slow he'd move. As a kid, hitting the pedals is what's important, the struggle is the fun. Great shot (and a nice reminder)
