Description The WW1 had left a lot of signs at the territory of contemporary Belarus. The main one are the German Soldiers Cemeteries. People almost forgotten lies in the foreign cold land, but not absolutely indifferent land.
This cemetery is situated near the village Ruzany at the Pruzany district at the edge of a huge forest. My red grave lamp may relieve the gloom of the loneliness and sorrow of the perished soldiers. RIP.

You did a great thing, you recognized their dignity and honored them as humans and soldiers.

R.I.P.

thank you for the kind words. There are plenty of German cemeteries in Belarus. There were a lot of WW2 ones previously. But many of them was destroyed, as in this town, Ruzany. My grandfather saw them been destroyed. I have managed to find WW2 cemetery min my city, Minsk, but there were no sign or memorial.

My father's best friend researches WW2 very much, he could even find the frozen bodies of some Axis soldiers who had died fighting the Soviet Union: one day, an old woman told this man that the trees around her town represent these soldiers and the forest is their memorial...

Yes! Such beautiful comparison. I always feel sorry for that soldiers. they died far away from home and now lies in the foreign land.
To tell the truth, I feel the same as that woman. When me and my friend came to the WW2 cemetery in Minsk, which is a small forrest (previously I wondered why it was a real forest near the city center, now i understand) I said probably the soldiers have turned into trees. after that I have found a poem in Russian stating the same idea.

This is a poem written by some russian or belarusian NS-guy, dedicated to the SS divisions' soldiers, who died in the East front trying to save our land from Bolshevism. It is stated that probably the soldiers who laid in the cold land, in their afterlives have turned into high and beautiful trees. These trees are so gorgeous and strong as the SS soldiers were while being human.

It is a beautiful concept, you described it perfeclty.

I wish I knew more about your country; what we learn in school is that all countries accepted to be part of the Soviet Union, but I'm realizing that is just a lie.

This is a poem in russian written by some NS-guy in honour of the German soldiers who have died trying to save our land from Bolshevism. Now their graves are lost or maybe they have just laid in the cold land. And in their afterlives they have turned into huge and beautiful trees, so strong and gorgeous as they were while being humans.
