I was recently able to participate as a costume designer/alteration specialist in a licensed Disney sing-a-long taking place at The Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, Washington! The show is set for Saturday, January second, 2016, and my friend, Nicole Lewis, over at Nicole Lewis Music , is going to be Elsa! I was able to design and alter a dress for her to use in the show, and I couldn't be happier to share it with you!
Details about the dress; Nicole provided a dress for me that she wanted to have altered into what would end up being the final dress, so while I didn’t create the dress from scratch, it was still a rigorous process. I had to take a strapped dress that was about two feet too long for Nicole and morph it into as close as I could possibly get to Elsa’s gown.
This shot in particular: Again, ignore the gape in the back of the dress; my dress form doesn't go skinny enough. This shot is to show the cape right before the hemming, to show off the shape and flow of it.
