Honestly, Garnet is just my favorite FF heroine. She's so... perfect. She doesn't have any specific trait that gets way overdone. Like, Rinoa was a bit too child-ish in my opinion. And Yuna... well Yuna had her moments where she just creeped me out.

Oh my goodness, that part made me so sad. She loved to sing. For some reason, FFIX always hit me with some serious nostalgia. Whenever I hear that song that she sings, my heart weeps a little bit. In a good way though. Or not... You know, I'm not too sure how it makes me feel. And she really is adorable. I think her character is just too perfect. She even has the whole "sheltered" thing going on that worked well with her character.
And as far as the most "human" characters go, I would also say that Terra from FFVI is also a fairly decent character. I really like her too.

It sounds lame, but simply because of how dramatic Zidane's character change was makes him easily one of my favorite FF heroes, too. At first he's all over the place, sarcastic and sharp-witted, if not a little pervy (but-grabing scene, anyone?). But when Dagger becomes queen and he mopes in the bar because he realizes he's really, honest to goodness, in love with her? Oh my stars, it's so adorable! He goes from smooth-tongued street-smart ladies-man to the kind of guy who sticks by his lady until the very end <3

I know! I love it. And, I mean, everyone in this game has a strong background story. Like, Freya and Sir Fratley. That was SO sad when he came in and he didn't know who she was.

And Beatrix? I love her story: torn between serving those she has sworn, or doing what's right and just. Plus, it's cute that Steiner totally develops a crush on her, lol. Oh, Eiko and your dropping things <3

Beatrix is just generally awesome. I wish that she had become a main character, that you could play regularly and whatnot.

She was such a badass, too; the only boss that actually gave me a run for my money.
And Blank. Even though he and Marcus were minor characters, I adored them. It was awesome when Marcus teamed up with Dagger and Steiner, and Dagger got to try her hand at thievery <3 That whole part I loved; Treno is such a pretty-looking city, even though most of it is rather dingy.

Treno was a lot of fun. I lost SO much gil at the auction house. And died a lot fighting those monsters that one shopkeeper had.

So much of this. I think I only won the majority of them because I cheated and got Zidane up to NEARLY trance, then let loose on the buggers XD
And the auction house... Oh, the bane of my gil purse, lol. Those weird crazy Steallazio coins, too! Freaky bird lady is freaky.

Oh I know. I always get so excited when the cimatic scenes start. I get so giddy. And my goodness, the ending made me cry so bad. I also cried when I thought Zidane was dead. That would've been absolutely horrible! D8

I KNOW! Of all of the heroes to die, Zidane is the least deserving of it! Sure, he was a bit of a skirt-chaser, but look how he changed when he realized how much he cared for his princess! <3
