Description
This is my part of an art trade with :devkilaibyao:. I'm not going to lie when I say that this was difficult. Dx I'd never really drawn Alucard before, and I think my style is a bit too shoujo for him. XDD His hair was a butt, and I officially hate drawing hats(which means I need to work on that Dx ). D: Anyway, I just hope you approve, Kila.

Alucard! For your first time drawing him, it's really good. I love how his hair turned out, all wavy and windy, and the shading is luff. And I'm really diggin' his hat!

Wow, I love this *_* His expression is just so creepy and the background looks just like those in the manga (in a good way of course XD )
I agree, hats are a bum D: Just one thing: the brim of his hat is a lot wider (improbably wide. I'm surprised it doesn't go floppy). That's only a minor thing. Actually, if you drew it bigger it wouldn't fit on the page XD

XD Thanks. Oh, I didn't notice the hat until now. You're right. I drew it bigger at first, but it just looked odd...but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? And I wondered how it didn't flop, too. It's magic, I say. Maaagic. o.o The bg was fun. 8D

His eye needs to look crazier... I think you just need to make is expression a bit more like a maniac ^_^;; Usually that's done with a bigger smile and eyes that have a bit more to them... (dark circles some lines under the eye etc etc...)

When I saw this I thought, Hey, that's Alucard! So at least it looks like him. I do have to say that, as a rabid Hellsing-fan I agree with you when you say your style is too shoujo for Alucard. However, I do think that you are very talented and that overall, it's a good picture. He doesn't look evil enough though...
