I don't know how popular "Eureka Seven" is in the world out there.. I only know, Europe is slow.. we just got the first five episodes and the first manga last week.Anyway.. I just love how the planet looks like in this anime. And so I tried to make a similar one with Terragen 2
Say what you think!
For those who don't know Eureka Seven, the green things there are called "Trapar Waves"; Transparent Light Particles on which you're able to surf in the sky.
To render all these Pictures I needed like 9 hours.. and one hour for the planet.. makes 10 hours work. But I like it
Right at the moment I'm rendering the first picture in a bigger resolution. I think this is going to look great.
Anyway.. for all who know what Eureka Seven is.. does it look good? should I post more?

Biggest problem is, that the program I used to make that render got an update not soon after this picture. With the "awesome" update, they removed the ability to make such "bulged" terrain and I was not able to reproduce it easily until now >_<;

the ones on the very bottom definitley look like Eureka Seven. I love the Skyfish and the Trapar waves that are supposed to be invisible except when you see people riding them.

Sure, they normally are invisible but I always loved the idea that you sometimes just could see them out in the sky ^^

Yea.. took quiet a while to render it. I guess with my new computer and the knowledge I have by now it would go a lot faster.

good job. just remember that the sides of the valleys and such look more like blooms on a flower or waves. not so much just cliffs. but good job im sure its a lot harder than it looks.
