holy shit nobody is being trans for attention!!!!! Most people don't question their gender because we live in a society that discourages gender exploration. For the longest time, I thought that gender and sex were the same thing. They were trying to be transphobic! you can tell by their responses. Blue is not being trans for attention. I've seen people pretend to be things for attention, even if it doesn't seem plausible. Some people like attention, whether it be positive or negative. You can't say that no one out there is trans for attention, but there are people that would act shitty enough to do it. Maybe a large majority of people don't question their gender because there's no need to???
I used to think so too, considering I thought that gender pronouns were originally created in order to identify someone according to their sex, but I guess that doesn't apply anymore. Regardless, I think Blue is still doing it for attention, but even if so she doesn't need to be harassed or hated because of it.

I know this comment is kind of old, but I just saw it so, ehh, I'd like to comment on it.
I've made no public statement on DA about being trans, so I'm a bit confused about how I'm coming off as seeming like I'm doing it for attention? Most of the time when I'm misgendered online I say nothing because I just don't want to bother. Also this really isn't out of the blue, it's just that I've been so private about it for such a long time, that now that I'm slowly being less private about it, people are being shocked and thinking it's sudden. Even though, I mean, I've been identifying as male since 2013. Which I know still isn't that long, but a lot longer then people realize.
Also right back to that attention thing, I've been on T for a month and a half. Been dealing with therapists and doctors for months. Spent close to $900 so far, and I have more therapists and doctors visits I still need to go to before the year is up. DoneΒ something likeΒ 40Β hours of traveling, since the small town I live in doesn't have any doctors/therapists that I'dΒ need to see.Β But I've said nothing about that on DA. Because I don't think it's anyones business and I like to keep my private matters just that. Private. Until a moment like this where I'm assumed to be a child seeking attention from strangers online. I don't think you have malicious intent, but I'd still rather not sit back and have someone think of me how you do.
