Description As some of you may know it was my birthday at the beginning of this month (Feb 4th) and my lovely girlfriend bought me loads of new stuff to doodle with!!

So as I'm finding the odd moment here and there to draw I am trying to get to grips with some different mediums...

So I give you Audrey... Which was more of a quick sketch than anything else, I have used my brand spankin new Copic markers here...

Tell me what you think

Nice! I've always wanted copics, but they're so expensive!

I really like the way the eyes turned out. Is there any real way to make the lines go away that are typical of markers? I would think it would be really time consuming to go over each one to make sure you didn't touch the line you just did so you don't get that effect. That's the only think that bothers me, but that's because I was looking at it in full view.
Just thought I'd make a note of it since you were asking for input.

Thank you for your comments as always... This was my first attempt at using my new Copic Markers, drawn on normal sketch pad paper which probably isnt the best paper to use with these... In the Copic range is the Colorless Blender (0) which should soften any edges and overlaps of colours. I didnt use it on this drawing because it didnt work well on this paper.

I have since got a Copic Bleedproof Marker Pad made especially for Copic Markers so hopefully with the new paper I'll be able to create something a lot smoother...

Hopefully anyway

Your input is always welcome!!

Oh wow! I didn't even know they had blenders for markers. Well that makes more sense, you can probably achieve a greater piece with those. I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to pick some up. Thanks so much for that helpful little tid-bit!
And it's no problem at all for the comments, they're well worth spent on your pieces.
