The marketing of the film went a little too far I think, I think putting them everywhere was a very bad marketing decision because that causes overexposure and the more characters are exposed to people, The more they begin to dislike them.

Yeah. I will say that over marketing the Minions isn't a great move. It's unfortunately a pattern that happens over and over with many other franchise that becomes big.
