Well, I didn't see this coming.
On one hand, I'm estatic. I've collected every past sonic cartoon DVD I could find (even the dreaded Adventures cartoon). I legitametly loved them (although Adventures and Sonic X hasn't aged well at all). And granted, the other two, SatAm and Underground, aren't masterpieces either. So compared to the other shows, it's bound to be good. Heck, it's the 2010s decade, It might be AWSOME.
But on the other hand...What did they do to Knuckles...WHY did they do that to Knuckles? Is he just gonna be portrayed as a bumbling idiot yet again? Why isn't Knuckles getting the treatment he deserves anymore?
I just don't understand why they'd bother making such radicaly different CG designs when we have perfectly good CG designs already available.
To summerize, skeptical Salkra is skeptical. I have really high hopes though, and I'm hard to disapoint. I just can't wait to see how it turns out. (and frankly, seeing Sonic on Cartoon Network was my childhood dream).

I totally agree. I've got high hopes for this too. And who knows? Knuckles could turn out awesome! As for the reason
why the deigns are changed, it's mostly like what a lot of t.v companies tend to do with big franchises like Sonic.
They try to make it distinctively different so that it's not confused to be ,say, another satAM, Adventures, x, or Underground
cartoon. It could also mean that this show could have it's own continuity even, they did say there will be old and NEW villains.

Sonic has so many continuities as of date, so a new cartoon isn't even that out of place. And I do love it when changes are made to keep each of them differant. Besides, Sonic's going to wear a vest in this, and Amy's wearing more sporty clothes rather than that strange dress.

It's how the show seems to make him look like, if you find the Sonic Boom tv show pic youll see Knuckles's buff as heck- looking shadow.

Seeing this picture- I think this should be the opening animation, just Sonic being super excited, grabbing his friends for adventure- and the last friend he grabs is Knuckles, who was trying to meditate- just a perfect job!!
