Description
Hex stared down at the little piece of blue string in front of him,it was trying to lift the "head" part,as if to look up at him.
"..Really?I've been trying to make you bigger for who knows how long,and you barely grew 1 centimeter in one year.."
The string managed to look up at him,though it didn't stay like that for long.
It tried again,and again and when it finally managed to look up towards it's creator it fell over in less than 5 seconds.

Hex sighed and picked it up,it wiggled in his grasp like a worm.
"Better than nothing i guess..But you're not really usefull,why can't you grow bigger like daddy's strings?"
He pointed up towards the seemingly endless stream of blue webbing way above the ground of the Anti-void.
The string drooped,as if feeling ashamed of it's size.
Strangely enough Hex felt..sympathetic towards it.
He sighed and tied the string around his right frist and hid it under his handband like he always did,
unlike his father he kept the string out at all times,out of fear that if he made it vanish he wouldn't be able to summon it again.
"Guess we're on the same boat David.."
Hex whispered,then leaned backwards so he fell to the floor,seen as there wasn't much to do he decided to take a nap.
"We'll show them,i don't care how long it takes.
Show them all how "pathetic and helpless" we are.."

I thought that since Hex would get lonely in the Anti-void by himself,he would start talking to the strings,
and even give his own a name.
(If you get why i chose "David" as the name for his string you deserve a cookie ^w^)

Anyhow,this is not too long before the Virus shows up,
i kinda wanted to show what kind of mindset Hex had before all that happened,makes his decision to side with the Virus
look more "believable"
