So a few years ago a best bud of mine got me back into text-based RPGing. ...online. In the world of MUD!For those of you not old or burnt out enough to remember them or, at least, know what they are, MUD are Multi User Dungeons (Dimensions for the newer generation). ASCII, text ONLY games played online through Telnet, or, more recently, MUDClients.
The imagination is allowed to go APESHIT while playing these things.
Aaaanyway, we BOTH went through a fairly serious addiction phase there for a while. When it ended, or thereabouts, I rather randomly decided to get it together and draw the three characters we'd been wreaking the most havoc throughout the Aeon of Darkness (that would be the name of the MUD boys and girls) with.
Without further ado, I give you... Thanoulis the Merchant!
This was fun for reasons I can't even begin to explain...

LoL...well, to be entirely fair, a lot of the irony was lifted from my friend's face as we played.
However, in light of the fact that we were playing a lightly descriptive game with no graphics to speak of and yet there's still a complete image here, I'll accept the praise and feel all warm and fuzzy inside
