LMAO Hachi isn't so bad all the time! He actually tries to act like a normal person (though an awkward one) :'D Rin wouldn't try to kill anyone since she wishes to be more "human"

Ah, if you mean what are the symbols, they're their gloves, Hachi's DS, a heart (Rin falls in love and ends up alone every time), a kitchen knife (for Hachi, obviously), and a blob of shadows (since Rin controls hers) ; c ;
