I tried my hand at changing up my style of drawing for this one. And a *tiny* redesign of her hair. I wanted her to have hair that Resembled Raine’s texture(after the time jump at the end of S3) rather than being a carbon copy of Eda (her mother). It’s been a few months since I last drew Melody, mostly because I had to draw a bunch of art for my upcoming DnD campaign. But with Melody being a huge comfort character and having been through a bit of a tough time medically it was definitely time to go to her for a small amount of distraction.

The idea being after she meets Luz, Luz teaches her how to actually take care of her curls instead of it being a tangled mess all the time. Luz be like “Gurl you got curly hair. Lemme at it.” And Camila just adores Mel’s hair.

I will eventually be returning to writing and eventually be publishing on AO3… something I admittedly should have done in the first place. But for now enjoy one Miss Melody Clawthorne doing what she does best. Big and exciting things to come in the new year!! With a little bit of an arty project in the works a 5 year plan finally set in motion! Let’s go!
