Edit:since most of you like the older version better, i'll explain why i prefer the new one:
-the understanding of facial anatomy has became better
-coloring is smoother and more natural
-shading techniques are better
-ok i admit getting lazy on adding details on her hair XD i concentrated on her face more
-i added an actual character to her. she seemed to be too stiff to me and her eyes looked dead
-according to the crispness of the older one, it's because it was outlined first, then i added base colors, then i shaded. but on the second, my style developed into coloring and shading at the same time.

but thanks for pointing out what you liked about the old one so i would take care about it next time. <3

I love em both, however I believe the reason people seem to like the before one slightly better, is simply because of the range of values. The newer one is missing darker tones whereas the older one has em. Otherwise the newer piece would definitely be better in my opinion

This has to be one of the best before and afters I've ever seen. The before is, granted, more defined (as in the hair and some facial features) but damn, it shows so much progress in the second one and how far you have come. It's more realistic. They're both beautiful, you should be proud of them both! <3Β

You really don't need to thank me, it's a great inspiration to people like me, who want to improve but have very little faith. Just shows what hard work and determination can do! Oh wow, I can't wait for a fourth one! Like I said, you don't need to thank me, but I'm glad it made you happy.

I agree second is better, but I miss a little more contrast/dark shading, specially on nostrils and lips. Hope it helps in some way :3

No of course the new one is better on antomy And coloring but i think the eyes r bieng distant from each other little bit but other things r perfect mashallah
