Panels 1-6 are inspired by an event between my friends and I a few years back (with modifications of course), me being Alfred in this situation and the other two being heterosexual males. There was a chalkboard in the school hallway that people like to graffiti on, and one day the said heart appeared with my two male friends' name written together. When I told them about this drawing, Friend Y (Arthur) blushed really hard for one second and resumed normal. To be honest, the blushing could've just been my imagination because I'm a fujoushi at heart.

Scotland's design is not the official one, it's the one that's been floating on Pixiv for quite some time and everyone seems to have adopted it. Personally I really like it, and hope Himaruya will either design Scotland close to that design or leave him alone for the fujoushis' imagination.
