I thought i was the only one who thought of waterspouts!
It's certainly a more beautiful and dynamic portrayal.

I would love to see more visualizations of the creation week. This is an exceptionally fascinating concept, like water spouts are transferring one body of water to another, evaporating into gas at the top and thus forming the atmosphere (the water above the earth). I don't know if it's as realistic as the water merely evaporating like rising mist as opposed to the more dramatic water spouts, but this is an awesome concept nevertheless.

I see what you mean, and i agree with you that the surface of the seas need to be more riled up.
But, (And i don't mean to look like I'm making excuses) it was really difficult to imagine this image. Because it's impossible to see or even to happen without divine intervention. The water is going down into the seas and up into the waters above. And the tops and bottoms of the cyclones are twisting in opposite directions. But it doesn't look that way because it's so different from what we know is possible that we see it as something we know is possible (or, at least, easier to imagine).
It's kinda like a slinky getting twisted up so it becomes more coiled, and eventually it gets so coiled up it breaks and quickly returns to it's original tension. That's what's going on with these tendrils of water. They are dividing themselves between the seas and the waters above (Though now I don't think that many people noticed that there's a thinner body of water instead of a sky [because it goes so much against what we know, see, think, and experience in the world that we just don't get it and think it's just water spouts shooting out of the seas into an empty sky])
That's what is going on in this picture, and it's so hard to get that on a visual level. :sigh: And I don't think I got that message across (in fact I'm not sure if I explained it well here).
And again, I don't want to seem like I'm making excuses (even though it may look like I am), I just wanted to say what was actually going on here (since I think some people didn't get it [which is my fault]).
Once again, i agree with you that the surface needs to be more turbulent. Thank you again for your thoughts and suggestions. They are greatly appreciated.

Dude, I agree with everyone else, this looks awesome! Some of the waters look too turquoise but other than that, this looks awesome.

thank you for your view! I feel there's some improvement left to be had, but if I didn't then I guess I would never improve! Thanks for your encouraging words. they mean a lot.

I really like it. I like that you tackled it in the first place, it's unique.

Nice representation. Very accurate to what I'd expect.
