Amazing use of light and colour. The way the forest seems to be entering a clearing is paired wonderfully with the sunlight that streams through the area - the posture of the character slightly tilted backwards almost looks as if he is taking in and bathing in the sunlight.
This conveys a very serene feeling, and with the gentle reflections of light that glimmer in the background, such an atmosphere is reinforced very nicely.
The vibrant colours used on the figure really stand out from the otherwise very natural feel of the scene; from the crown to the skin to the woolly sweater, the colours used are both warming and attractive.
I love your use of texture, particularly with the sweater and crown, and such superb technique only compliments the relaxing nature of the piece.
