Description
A long time ago I re-designed several Galaxy warriors for COTU
We wanted to make them look like MOTU figures. My favorite design was the one I did for Iguana which I later renamed Iguanus and became a major player in my MOTU world
You can see the custom here in one of my albums
I did some drawings back then but I wanted to update those drawings.
This is one of more to come. MOre Galaxy warriors and MOTU art coming soon.

If we're calling him "Iguanus the Galaxy Warrior", then I like to think that he and all the other Galaxy Warriors are aliens.

Good call giving him Tongue-Lasher's body. Oddly enough it fits him. Certainly more so than sticking him on Baltard's body.

I also learned of these things from Phelous. Talk about cheap-o. Still, the Frazetta-influenced designs (even if it was very much plagiarism) going as far as the characters shows at least SOME care went into them
And I also feel there needs to be a spotlight for Baltard, the Biggest Loser on Planet Ferror.

I have to say after looking at the actual toys your MOTU revamp of him is a vast improvement. I knew there were knock-offs of the toys but Galaxy Warrior has to be the worst ones I've ever seen. They didn't even try to make the heads proportionate to the bodies on most of the figures, and their version of Castle Grayskull looks like its melting.
I can't wait to see how you revamp the rest of them

Hahahaha thanks buddy! yeah they are awful but some of them had their thing you know. If they had done the heads right they could have looked awesome.
Some of the designs are cool. I like Iguana, Kobraaa and Mace Ape for some reason.

I understand, I had the same experience with Inhumanoids. The cartoon was awesome but the toy sculpts and designs were pretty bad. Like they made Auger's armor look like it was made out of brains and none of the human's head sculpts matched how the character was supposed to look.
But still I adore the concept and I love the characters and monsters.

This is amazing work Mike, as always I love your Filmation inspired colors, I really hope you'll do some kind of battle scene with him versus Teela and Buzzoff now, would he use that dragonfly weapon thing like Tung Lashor? It's more or less like a Horde member crossbow, but would it spit acid or fire?
