Description The Broadsword V/R.A.I.L (Variable Reinforced Armored Integrated Loader) from Orbis Technologies is a dual mode unit. The Broadsword is shown in it's Hi-Maneuver mode ( Hi-M). In this mode the unit resembles a motorcycle , and has many of the same attribute of said vehicle. The OVR-609-E was designed to operate in the Sprawls and Mega-Sprawls of Mars , with this in mind it's was designed to function in tight spaces. In Hi-M mode the OVR-609-E is capable of speeds of 190 mph and is capable of jet assisted jumps. The Broadsword is used exclusively by Orbis Internal Security units and is NOT sold on the open market.

The OVR-609-E is shown in its standard loadout. The OVR-609-E has various hardpoints and can be equipped with a range of weapons packages. In the loadout shown (A1) the unit is equipped with an Orbis BW-119-A beam rifle , that is equipped with a onboard power generator that allow the weapon a rate of fire of about 20 shots a min or a continuos beam with a duration of 2 mins every 5 mins. The OVR-609-E is also equipped with the same standard R.A.I.L. sensor suite.

it's a rim mounted electric motor system, also called a direct drive system. if i recall correctly honda developed it, back in the late 80's. and i'm working on that illo right now.
