-Bio: 'Arry and Bert are twin diesel shunters that mostly work around Vicarstown, be it either at the Sodor Iron works, a.k.a. the Smelter's Yard, or occasionally at different quarries or shunting yards on the island. This duo fits the descriptions of devious diesels, as they are scheming, mischievous, cocky, and view themselves above steam engines, as their times at the Smelters gives them great pleasures in breaking up old engines. Or at least teasing them when they tried to get away with scrapping Stepney, but were caught by the Fat Controller, who since then has kept his eye on those two. Its because of their grim task in scrapping steam engines, or even kinder diesels that support steam engines, 'Arry & Bert have gained the title as "the Grim Messengers of Doom", but that doesn't mean the engines fear them, but still can't stand them. Despite having their own way of doing things, they're more followers than leaders, and sometimes can be rather goofy and impulsive when trying to prove diesels are superior, especially with Bert coming off as the goofiest and not as bright as 'Arry. Despite their scheming and rude antics, they are versatile like many of the other diesels, and have been able to put aside their prejudices when helping the steam engines out, and in the end, they just want to be appreciated, and can be really surprised if a steam engine is nice to them, so they really can cooperate at times, but it depends on what these devious diesels are planning it.

-Artist’s Commentary: I felt in time for Halloween this year, 'Arry & Bert would be a good choice, and in the nick of time, despite I'm only writing this bio now. It's also surprising that after two whole months, I've actually made it up to 50 character promos, could you believe it? My design as you can tell, yes it was borrowed from Diesel for obvious reasons, and you can who's who as Bert is the one who has more stubble than 'Arry (its surprising how locomotives have beards, but than again, with a show about talking trains with faces, I'll got with it), and yeah, the names are under them, pretty bloody obvious, LOL! I admit, the first time we saw them in their debut in Stepney Gets Lost, these guys were terrifying, especially with the fact they tried to get away with murder by scrapping Stepney, plus, when 'Arry says "got you this time", its clear they must've had a history together. In Engines Together, they'll be a blend of their mischievous and cynical selves, but will still be the Grim Messengers of Doom back from Season 5. As for the bumbling, goofy side, you will see more of this really in Bert, but its not to say they're idiots, but they act stupid, especially since Diesel, who is a lot smarter, would be the leader of these two, and even Diesel 10, we'll get too him soon! But really depends on how I'll depict the Iron works diesels, but I gotta include them, as they are great Thomas villains nonetheless. Speaking of Class 08 Shunters, I got one up that will uploaded next.

I will also portray these 2 as the Grim Messengers of Doom that they were in Season 5!
