-Bio: James is a mixed-traffic tender engine that is best known for his splendid red paint work and brass dome that is very hard to miss. He is very proud of his red livery so much, that he considers himself to be above any of the smaller, older or weaker engines, and coming off as very vain, arrogant, selfish, and conceited. He has an intense hatred for doing anything related to goods, as he believes its beneath him, and that he should only be assigned for passenger duties. He is also trapped in his little world, appearing as very overconfident and cocky, not realizing the situation only when he suffers those consequences, and has lashed out at everybody that either disagrees, or if he can't stand their appearance. Just like his red paint work, he can easily lose his temper more easily than Gordon or Thomas. Though what comes around goes around, and James has gotten into a lot of trouble because of his boastful and stubborn attitude. But despite his vanity, James really does have a caring side, and when he realizes the errors of his mistakes, he vows to make amends showing his true colors. He really does care a great deal about the other engines, and will eventually learn to accept others he's been rude too, and never stops until a job is finished. James will always learn to do right thing and admit when he's been selfish, and is very honest, passionate, loyal engine that is very responsible and reliable, a praise that makes even the Fat Controller proud of him too.
-Artist's Commentary: Take a look who's been uploaded next, make way for James, hooray for James! I know I go to much when typing the personalities and bios of each character, but I can't help it, as I got so much to say, that I just wanna sell it too all you out there, even for the fans who know this already, but I will still add character development, as that is totally important. And James here is no different, as compared to Gordon, he seems to be the more arrogant one to me, but his vanity only comes from appearances, which is why he is so conceited and shallow. He even seems to be more prone to anger, given the symbolic meaning of his red livery. Plus, I always enjoyed his theme, as well as the sing-along song based on him, as he really is one of the better conceited characters out there, unlike in the current series, where he has become an obnoxious idiot whose personality keeps being exaggerated on. But don't worry, James will develop in my series as well, as he will learn to respect everybody and control his temper more, but other than that, he ain't going nowhere, as every show needs a main character in the group like James, and that's why he's awesome.
