-Bio: Jock was an engine first built in 1976 when the Arlesdale Railway's work. He received his name from Douglas, as his rare Chartreuse Yellow livery reminded him of how engines back on his old railway in Scotland were painted in that livery were known as "Jocks". Jock is a very confident, cool-headed, and respectable engine that can move heavy workloads without any trouble. He used to come off very conceited and arrogant, but after helping Mike with a double header, when the latter used to be jealous off him, he began to learn the value of friendship and teamwork, and vowed to keep his ego in check. Despite being brash and impulsive at times, he is usually very compassionate and honest, and never hesitates to use his strength when the other engines need him most. Despite being the youngest of the Arlesdale Engines, Jock is arguably the most mature of the group. He has great determination and is easily motivated by hard-work, and is glad to be working alongside his fellow engines, come rain or shine.

-Artist's Commentary: Yes you guys, I do intend on having Jock, though figuring out how to draw him was difficult, especially finding a picture to reference off of, but thankfully, I got him, and now I've uploaded him to deviantart. So Jock I feel is a character we definitely need in the current series along with Frank, especially after they brought the Arlesdale Engines in the series. We may have gotten his own book back in 1990, but only the last two stories, we know a little bit about him. So know, its up to fans like us to figure what his personality would be, but then again, that's the power of fanfics, going into the obscure history of our favorite series and expanding upon it. Hell, we need more characters like Jock instead of those stupid international engines that Mattel keeps adding in for their own selfish gains. When we get to a full illustration of Jock, I will make his wheels the same color of his actual livery like the other Arlesdale Engines are after their renders in the TV Series, and I have even given him a headlamp as well just like the TV Series, and if they do add him and Frank in, I wouldn't surprised if they give him a West Country/Cornish accent like the other miniature engines, and everybody else on the Little Western has, as I've noticed how with each different engine working on a different part of Sodor, would seem to be given a regional accent, mostly reflecting on their basis, as thumbs up to the authenticity.

As far as Jock's personality, I've decided being the strongest, he will be like Hercules from TUGS, very cool and confident, and the kinda guy you wanna hang out with, despite we know very little about him too. So for Jock, he will be occasionally brash and impulsive at times, but knows when he's wrong. While writing this, I've decided to create this irony that despite being the youngest, he is the most mature, and I admit, that yellow livery does look pretty cool.
