this is the actual concept i had pictured in my brain. i wanted to do something that looks like a screen cap but pencilled. i needed to go back to work, so i just pasted in a bioshock concept art for the BG and tweaked it in PS.so just to be clear, THE BACKGROUND IS NOT BY ME. IT IS BIOSHOCK CONCEPT ART.
full disclosure: i didn't finish the game. i quit midway through. what can i say? i'm a pussy. video games for me are a very visceral experience. i REALLY get into the games. most times i CANNOT play if i'm alone in the house. i get the shakes after playing something intense like rainbow six or halflife. anyway, bioshock got to be like work and stopped being fun. i quit and switched to R6 vegas instead.

...and that's why i don't like to play video games alone in my house! don't like playing at night too. the sad thing is, i'm not kidding. i get so into the game, i start to scare myself. i jump at every sound. its ridiculous.

wow! Exactly same thing happened to me with Bioshock, but then I got it a few years later and now I've finished the first and second one like three times and have got DLC for them both. Nice artwork too! I love the arm with winter blast especially and the Rosie's suit is full of detail too.

I stopped Playing even before the plot twist! At the level where ryan gasses the gardens. Horror games just aren't for me, I guess.

i am playing this game now. it's nice! i'm midway through in hard diffculty.
actually i finished playing bioshock 2 and then i thought i'd need to play the first game to get a better grasp of Rapture and the story.
NICE RENDITION. you've got good eye for detail and you draw neatly. i can tell when a drawing didn't use rulers, but the lines are still straight. GOOD JOB.

First of all, this picture is amazing, despite you not drawing the background...it's minimalistic, subtle, and your focus is on the drawing itself. Line work is fantastic, and your eye for detail phenomenal. It's an epic tribute to an epic game.
Second of all, I feel you about being so absorbed in a video game...except, I might be more scared than I am engrossed, well probably both. Like I can't play Fear by myself rofl.
Anyway, sorry about that, but this piece of fanart will forever lay in my favorites. SO GOOD.

FYI, i'm thinking of making another bioshock fan art. maybe.(though hopefully not as complex). so keep an eye out just in case.

Borderlands is awesome, not just because of the look, but also because that the game itself is good and balanced.
As for Prince of Persia, i haven't seen it yet, but now that you said, i think i gonna buy it.

personally, i loved PoP. the visuals are stunning and the animations are silky smooth. the characters are both endearing and the story is very engaging. what some people did not like was the repitative nature of the gameplay (which i didn't mind). be warned.

yep. originally i wanted to do it myself (doable, if a little time consuming), but i ran out of time. so i got a piece of bio concept art from ign and ps'ed it so it'll match the art. no need to jump off the cliff!

Amazing, simply amazing really! The way you got the perspective on the Big Daddy's hand is so spot on. Making a grasping hand straight on is impossible for me. I love the slightly confused looking Little Sister there XD she looks like she's thinking "what the heck is this guy doing?"
