Description
Belated upload as part of the much delayed Project CanisVulpes, one of many Character Model sheets (for, like, the first time in the entire three-year existence of Valleydoge).
Well, kinda. I'm lazy. This is a turnaround for one character I could never agree on a wardrobe for. Have a hipster/metrosexual lion.
Spoiled by conflicting parents (father crude conspiracy theorist, ex UC teacher in Philosophy and Politics; mother supporting yet aloof) who don’t quite know him for who he really is. This lion is prompted to do research on his own; becoming self-learning and thriving, like an intellectual street-kid. Repulsed by the monotonous “chain brand” items given to him by his parents, Raoul tries to set out an image of his own, breaking away from the mainstream into his own little world. He strives to give off a personal sense of freedom to himself by taking advantage of the “progressive” elements of Silvercreek via frequenting the cafes, switching to bike exclusively, shopping at the co-op, and opting for Picasso which he felt was a better fit. This sense of freedom has brought along a sense of arrogance and entitlement, which can cause Raoul to become rather defensive of menial comments/jokes about hipster/offbeat lifestyles, or just about Silvercreek itself. He has dabbled in some poetry, but would rather research and blog at the indie cafes downtown, when he’s outside of class. Tends to be a critical skeptic, but has a bit of a heart if charmed and can be rather snarky at times.
