Those are real. I'm not exactly sure what they're called but they're all over the city that I live in.

my 'daddy' (lol) is a does landscaping
there are a lot of plants with thick waxy leaves
and a lot of people who make fake plants prefer them because they're so easy to imitate.
but if you want to figure it out just break off a peice and smell it.

Try squishing it with your fingers. See if the green juices will come out. If it does, it's real.

They look real... but more interestingly to me is the fact that if you zoom out of the picture, it almost looks like a sea-dragon. That's what caught my eye.

I hate it when plants look both fake and real.
Because when I see a plant that look fake and then I go and take a look and notice it's real I go like "Ooooh.... it was real". The same go with fake plants "Ooooh.... it was fake" =w=

these types of "leaves" (though scales is more appropriate" would belong to a cedar tree, or similar family for smaller bushes...

Oh god, these thing... I have a bush in front of our house that has leaves like these. Well, they're more like buds that never need to sprout or something. But they get that photosynthesis action working just the same <_<

I've already seen plants like that.
They are easy to reproduce in plastic
because they are essentialy made of green parts.
