Let's be honest, both Marvel and DC are guilty of over-complicating their comics and whoring-out particular characters.
Although, in Marvels defense, they're at least making the effort to make movies about different characters, rather than simply pushing them all aside in favor of one character that's more than overstayed his welcome.
