The other odd thing is that he's always alone when I run into him, so I don't have any shots of the other members of the group
Gaslight Gathering was a lot of fun - I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'm definitely planning to attend next year. It was great seeing so many people from Conji there in steampunk gear, plus all of the "inventions" on display. My only complaint was that everything seemed to require an additional (paid) ticket on top of the convention admission (the concert, fashion show, etc.. required a regular badge plus a $20 or so admission ticket for the show, and there were multiple events like these). It was definitely worth checking out though!

Awesome, it looked like fun && steampunk costumes look so beautifully detailed~ Oh, jeez, I hate "free" cons that require money to do everything though. It's like, you might as well just sell badges && let it count for everything =___= Still seems like a cool gathering though

The thing that I think made this one worse is that the extra events were on top of the $50 ticket to get in, so it's not even like a "free" con with some charged activities

Yeah - definitely worth checking out and I'd highly recommend it, it's just that it can get expensive (quick).
The dealers hall had all sorts of awesome stuff that I had absolutely no need for, but was SO HARD to not buy because it was just so cool. The ticketed events and dealers hall can make it a very pricey (but I'd still say worth it) event. I was only able to stay for the 'included' activities (steampunk cosplays, some live performances and dealers hall) and had a lot of fun.
