Satisfied he’d seen everything possible from this vantage point, Bond put the tripod and binocular back into the boot, and then got behind the wheel to move on to his next observation point. After driving down this hill, the road descended on a steep slope and he worried his Aston’s ground clearance wouldn’t be enough as the “well-maintained dirt road” became less so. Fortunately after a turn it became an asphalt paved road and he was able to speed up and take it to the top of a ridge. He continued around until he found the spot that looked like he’d have the best view of the southeastern face of the property.

Bond parked at a lookout point which was thankfully unoccupied. He set up the tripod again and had to re-adjust the optics considerably since he was far enough away from the property now to be at the extreme limit of the binocular’s range. From this new perspective though, he could see that one of the outbuildings was a huge warehouse, complete with multiple industrial roll-up doors and a helipad on the roof! As he watched he began hearing the familiar “thwup-thwup” of a helicopter. He looked around and spotted one heading toward the property from the east. Soon, a hatch opened up at the far end of the roof and two men came up, and seemed to stand back, waiting for the craft to land.
