Sooooooooo here is somewhat of a prequel picture to this www.deviantart.com/miketheserg… This is where Queen Charred has purchased both Dusty and Viper from the sand dragon slaver so she can experiment on them with cursed jewelry she stole from and Ancient Dragon Temple. She will then use them for her army where they will be forced to fight along her dragon soldiers to attack Mistress Adara's Kingdom and probably die in the process. But that's not what happens here, Viper is the one who volunteers to put on the armlet but Queen Charred makes Dusty put it on since she sees he's terrified and Viper seems to be protecting him so she does that to anger him. They do eventually get out of this situation.

I feel like i haven't touched on Vipers character too much, he is joking and being funny here to make Dusty less scared he may be goofy and overconfident but he genuinely cares about others and likes to stand up for others who can't defend themselves. During the escape Dusty is stabbed in the stomach by Queen Charred and Viper helps him get free and then stays behind to fight Queen Charred, he is able to pin her down and slash her in the face, he then sticks the same blade she stabbed dusty with into her eye which makes her pass out from the pain (though this dose not kill her) and he is able to escape and search for dusty.
