I am back at work and enjoying coffee and cuddles with kittens after a long weekend of comic con. Despite catastrophic failure on Hermes' part of my book delivery, MCM London was a great success for me, and I plan on going again in may, if I can get a table. ^-^ Thank you to all who came by over the weekend and bought nice thing, chatted, handed me FANART (♥)! I had a great time~Big shoutout to Yoms & Corey for being the nicest people ever, my table neighbours, my personal slave for the weekend Fyorl and BaGgY666 , who helped me figure out how to even get a table in the first place.

I will behonest sometime I drink decaf but for good reason to experiment with my coffee. Cayenne pepper good, cayenne pepper and coco powder no good

I love this photo immensely, and I'm not sure if you intentionally framed everything this way or if that's just how things ended up, but seriously, this is eye catching!
Having the subject right in the middle often can cause loss of interest, but the sunlight from the window outlines your frame so that you're really brought to attention. From that first moment, I take note of the quote of your shirt, which immediately brings a smile to my face. I note your hair, tied up to stay focused and tidy, then I look into the sunlight and spot your plants on the sill. I'm next drawn to the next largest object in the image and the main topic in relation to the subject, that being your tablet set up and lovely artwork. Finally I check the other side of the table, seeing your headset neatly propped on a stand, your cat relaxing with you (seemingly almost holding your hand) while looking directly at the camera, giving that "I see you watching" feeling, despite it being just a picture.
And finally, the coffee cup, with that perfect, curled wisp of steam. Death before Decaf~ It's like the theme comes full circle so naturally, and I just love it!

I'm pretty envious of your cintiq ... and your cat ... and your coffee ...
just kidding, I'm always happy to see young artists meeting their fans in person and having fun with their work. It's kind of a relief since many artists seem to feel unhappy and under pressure because of nagging fans or companies so really, it's good to see a few ones having a great time when interacting with costumers and stuff.

Haha, I wouldn't consider myself a 'young' artist necessarily, and I think the calm and enjoyment comes from my experience too. I've reached a point where I don't struggle to survive, and I'm old/confident enough not to let strangers tell me what to do. (even fans who mean well. I just draw a line.)

it doesn't, because it rests on the desk. you can also set how flexible it is. mine definitely doesn't budge. :>
