Self portraits we did in art class. <3 I'm really proud of this. It doesn't really look a lot like me, but it's decently close considering I suck at art.
I'm definitely NOT happy with the hair, though, and the eyes are definitely not alike, but oh well!Let me know your honest critique, please?

Wow! I think the face looks really good. The shading is fantastic and the shaping of the facial features are really full and believable. And the eyes don't bother me like they do you. Eyes are never quite the same on a real person. :3
Only thing I would suggest working on is the hair, which I saw you weren't happy with anyway. It looks bunched up too much. Maybe check out a tutorial like: [link]

Yes! Oh my God, I can't do hair. I was going to use a tutorial but we could only work on it in class, he wouldn't let us print anything, and I don't have enough ink in my printer at home to print a tutorial. I just don't have the memory, but if I try to do something like this again I'll definitely try harder on the hair. <3 Thanks!

Ooh! this is very awesome! I love it ^^
However, I feel like you could improve in the hair by defining it more. If you're going to have pieces of it sticking out, you might want to make it like fat to skinny (lmao does that even make sense? like sort of like an arrow => but wavier I guess heh)
otherwise, it looks really good!
