History:

Born and raised in Alola Region, Mako grew up as an only child of a Pokemon researcher couple. Growing up Mako would always end up alone at home with his baby sitter. He always looks forward to the weekends so he can go out and travel with his parents. Mako love traveling and discovering new things, a trait that he probably got from his parents.

By the time Mako reached the age of eleven, he received his very first pokemon. He received it asa a birthday gift from his parents along with giving him more freedom to roam around the island. A Luxury ball containing a baby Dratini. From there, it was a beginning of a beautiful friendship. Mako would often be found at the beach front in Hau' Oli City swimming with his Dratini and often times battling. He loved roaming the city everytime, his favorite was summer, because his cousins visit and he'd get to tour them in the city. In that certain moment he truely felt at home. As the years pass by, Mako gained a lot of new friends and new pokemon companions. Mako didn't enter the island trials until he was 17. It was a long and hard battle for him and eventually didn't continue.

When Mako graduated from college taking up pokemon biology, he grabbed the opportunity to be the city's aquatic tour guide, showing the tourists the beautiful creatures inhabiting the rich seas of Melemele island. Using his vast knowledge in Marine Pokemon biology, he was able to astound tourists of any age. He found happiness in his work as he is able to save up some money and be able to provide for himself and his pokemons. Being that on the side, Mako kept his island trial key chain as a reminder that there are always mountains to climb. He dreams of partaking in the island trials once again and finally defeat the Melemele island kahuna. Though for him it will take a lot of trainings and sacrifices, but his will to be even better that he is right now will one day motivate him to engage in the trial one day.
