mikomaju — dress with beads

Description i sewed 2 thin fabrics (dunno the english name for it ) randomly together by hand and added some small tulle parts and beads. Basically thats how i like to work, first give the fabric a new look and then cut the pattern.

das sieht nach vielen, vielen schichten aus, wieviele sind es denn? gefaellt mir auf jeden fall sehr, es ist so schoen detailliert mit den perlen und tuell.wunderschoen!

na ja, ich hatte so n ziemlich billigen stoff mit ner losen leinwandbindung einmal in altrosa und noch so n undefinierbares grau. Aus dem altroa hab ich ein paar dünne stoffstreifen geschnitten und die dann kreuz und quer über die beiden lagen genäht. Dann hab ich dad ganze noch mal hier und da punktuell gerafft und an die enden der streifen immer ein paar schichten tüll plus perlen rangenäht. Zum schluss wars ein riesenviereck, was ich irgendwie ausgeschnitten und zu nem kleid zusammengenäht habe.
Bist du eigentlich grad in Japan? Oder bist du Japanerin?

Hm, do you think its frilly enough? ahaha.

I can see this being used an evening gown. Its not too dressy, and its not too raggy.

I DO think the beads kinda throw it off...I think I would like it better without...so, yes. You get my drift, dont you?

thx for your comments . Actually I bought all fabrics and beads in Istanbul. Its estonishing how huge and cheap the market is there. You can find EVERYTHING over there. In Germany its too expensive for a student to work with beads and pailetts and stuff .
