Description Ive had this pic since January i think. Finally posting it.

And so this is how that book actually ended. The assassins got their mitts on it and made sure none of it ever happen

bye bye Abbas >:3

--------------
The other thing about Abbas being the bad guy, and being pissed at altair since he was 10 all the way till his death in his 80's. Really? >_> you had a grudge on him because he 'dishonored' your family? how? did altair talk shit to everyone everyday and bully Abbas? i think not. He just told you what you needed to hear. GET OVER IT!

The plot for revenge was just very lazy. Its just lazy writing that drags on. The time span for the acts that followed were just to broad. If he wanted revenge, why wait so long. If you want power, take it, dont wait till your 80 years old (hoping you live that long) to obtain it. whats the point. what will you do at that age with the power lol XD

It all just seemed ass backwards. And its not believable.
And out of everyone to be resentful and hateful, it would be Malik.

He had more incentive since he lost his brother, arm, and rank in the assassins because of Altair's foolish actions. Yet Malik forgave him and stayed by his side as his best friend till his death just makes no sense.
--------
end rant

I will not accept that book or Bowden's work. sorry. My two cents.
Not my cup of tea, and too many characters i love died horribly (specially Malik) So no, i do not want.

We are sad for you, Malik. You will remain in our hearts. How you died was horrible. First Rauf the weapons instructor, then Altair's son Sef, then Malik.

 Requiescat in pace, brothers.

As Altair and Malik read the Secret Crusade, they discover shocking things.

Malik: What the fuck!?
Altair: Holy fucking..... What the fuck!?
Abbas: What?
Malik and Altair (together): ABBAS!!!
Abbas: God help me!
Malik: Do I get decapitated?
Altair: Do I lose my son, wife and my favorite weapons trainer Rauf?
Abbas: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Malik and Altair (together): Get him! Get the traitor!

Clearly, Abbas did not believe Altair's word that Abbas's father Ahmad committed suicide. In a rage, Abbas attacked Altair in a fit of anger on a training day with a real sword, despite Altair being the better fighter. Fearing that this would bring more dishonor unto the Sofian family name, Altair reluctantly had to falsely admit that he was lying, and as such, both the boys were arrested and thrown into the castle dungeons. Abbas was reprimanded for letting his emotions get the best of him and as such, his training was to extend for a year, with Altair already becoming an Assassin. These two kids never remained brothers-in-arms again.

Altaïr confronts Abbas for the final time in Masyaf, 1247.

Altaïr: Tell your men to stand down.

Abbas: No! I am defending Masyaf! Would you not do the same?

Altaïr: I would have defended the Order! Instead, you corrupted everything we stand for, and lost everything we gained. You sacrificed my wife and my son. All of it, sacrificed on the altar of your own spite- your blank refusal to accept the truth.

Abbas: And you, you have wasted your life staring into that Apple, dreaming of your own glory!

Altaïr: That is true, Abbas. I learned many things from the Apple. Of life and death, of the past and the future.
Let me show you...

Altaïr shot Abbas with his Hidden Gun. A pool of blood covered Abbas's chest, after which he tumbled down the stairs to Altaïr's feet.

Abbas: I can never forgive you Altaïr. The lies you told about my family, my father. The humiliation I suffered.

Altaïr: They were not lies, Abbas. I was ten years old when your father came to see me. He was in tears, begging to be forgiven for betraying my family. Then he cut his own throat. I watched his life ebb away at my feet. I will never forget that
image.

Abbas: No.

Altaïr: But he was not a coward, Abbas. He reclaimed his honor. In all these years did you never doubt?

Abbas: Did you ever wonder if there is a next world, Altaïr? I hope there is another life after this one. In a few moments I shall know for sure. If there is, I will see my father. Then I will see him, and know the truth of his final days... And when it is your time, we will find you, and then there will be no doubts.

Abbas uttered his final words and went on to the world between life and death, waiting for Judgment Day.

Darim: Where is mother?

Altaïr: She is gone, Darim. I'm sorry...

Darim: What? How?!

Altaïr: Later. First we fight.

Darim: Brothers! We need not fight.

Altaïr: Forget reason, Darim. They have been poisoned by lies.

Darim: Was it Abbas who killed my brother?

Altaïr: He killed your brother, Malik, and countless others.

Darim: He is a madman.

Altaïr: A madman with an army.

Darim: He will die. One day he will pay.

And Abbas did pay for the murders of Rauf, Malik, Sef and Maria. With his life, in 1247. Read how Abbas died in my next comment.

Abbas ordered the killing of Malik. Swami killed Malik and decapitated him, then shoved his head into a burlap sack, later presenting it to Altair and Maria on 1228, leading to Abbas blaming Altair of treason.

Not only Islam, but even the Assassin Brotherhood prohibits suicide, burning of bodies unless a epidemic struck, killing of innocents and compromising the Brotherhood.

I wanted to read the books but I seem to have a hard time figuring out the order. I've had books tell me two different ones start it and when I look online I have people tell me either different ones or that the books suck, are confusing, and other reasons to not read it and just play the games. Could you tell me the order?

MustaviSAdi-12345678 In reply to xxikurumixx [2015-12-06 19:06:23 +0000 UTC]

The Secret Crusade is a compilation of Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles, Assassin's Creed 1, Assassin's Creed Bloodlines and the Altair memories from Assassin's Creed II and Revelations.

But the book itself is not fully canon, only Altair's birth, his early childhood, his travels to Mongolia to kill Genghis Khan, Malik's death and decaptitation, Altair's exile, the events occuring within the exile and the events, alongside Niccolo and Maffeo Polo's training occuring in the years between 1247-1257 are canon.

LOL that so true!

why he has to wait that long?

80? How could he hope he will live long enough for his plan to work out. Average age of man at that ancient time was like 40. Especially when you work in such a dangerous field.

Attaora In reply to LittleDarkDragon [2013-03-25 14:42:49 +0000 UTC]

Living this long back in those days was indeed very rare. For Altaïr, my guess is that the Apple has something to do with it. After hall, he died right after he finally let it go. As for Abbas, well he spent most of his time hidden in the fortress because he had gotten paranoiac.
Of course, that's just my guess.
