Personality: Bubbles is a robot who is fascinated by the world around him. Because of his fascination, he is sometimes caught in his own little world and is oblivious to his surrounding in a childlike manner. Despite all of these traits, he's a very intelligent robot who knows a lot about almost everything. As do most educating robots. He's got a lovable nature and is a little too silly in situations that call for seriousness. Even so, these are the perfect qualities for a robot that has to deal with kids all day… or had to, that is. Of course, the world he remembers has vanished in an instant. Seeing as she met Luke, who looks reminiscent of the children he once cared for, the memories he has of the past still haunt him, and, in his saddened state, is having trouble coping with the guilt of leaving a group of children she was designed to care for.

Relationship with Luke: Sees Luke as a child (despite his constant telling him that he is 24) and so feels compelled to constantly watch over him. It does this because it sees Luke as a sort of “substitute” where he can project her programming on. It does have a feeling of uselessness at least that’s how he thinks he is to Luke, and tries to make itself useful in any way she can.

Ability:

-Gear infused with the power to absorb any form of magic that comes with direct contact with Bubbles (Unless the gear is removed from his body)

-Has several useful tools in hidden compartments around his body, like a compass! That doesn’t spin… or a ruler! That is half broken… or a clock… that doesn’t tell the right time… okay so his tools aren’t as useful as they were in the past when he was regularly maintained

Strength:

-Tough Plating (albeit rusted and weakened)

-Mechanical strength (What little there is)

-Knowledgeable on many things (he was built to educate future prodigies)

-Unpredictable magic that resonates from his gear (its effects are highly unpredictable… mostly harmless or useless)

Weakness:

-It will not harm any or anything it considers a child and will immediately come to their defense or care

-Three open exhaust ports leave his clockwork susceptible jamming real easily by small hard objects thrown in like rocks

-Pacifistic nature, he’s a teacher not a fighter (but it might make an exception)

-Has a few rusty soft spots in his plating that can break if hit hard enough

-He is still attempting to cope with the change of scenery and constant guilt/worry over the children he unintentionally left behind leaving them without their caretaker

Background:

Mr. Bubbles was once a denizen of the city, a robot created by the inhabitants to act as an all-around caretaker for their children. He would care for a group of kids to entertain them with games, but he was also an educator, so he acted as a mobile class and taught the kids mathematics, science, history, etc. etc. She lived a peaceful life with his creators until in one moment, in one blink, he was going from leading children on a field trip to being in an ancient walking city.

Notable trivia:

-Bubbles is not capable of swearing, at all. It’s hardwired into its programming. The only swear it is capable of saying is either childish like “POOPY-HEAD” or in Shakespearean swears such as “You uneducated potty mouth”
