Last time I drew kissing couple was back at 2011. I never draw kissing couples because they always turn out weird looking. Though I'm kinda proud of this one because I wouldn't imagine I could do it this good. I'm also pretty proud how much my side profiles has changed. They look more natural in my opinion. I'm sorry that I'm so bad at drawing guys. I haven't have much hot men around me to look at and I couldn't find any reference of male side view
So just had to work from my head.This is music and her best friend Alex (or maybe more than just a friend).
I was suppose to use Alex in another story but I think he looks better with music. And uumm. I draw ref of him later

okay, yes i am your friend, but who cares.
i personally liked this picture very much overall. your art always has lots of light & shine, so i like how you incorporated it with the night scene. i will say, it looked really nice on how you had the hair & dress floating in the water, it looked realistic. the water itself, didn't really look like water... it looked a but too solid in my opinion. i would've liked it to have a bit more texture, with that said, the way it flowed from them looked quite nice. i watched the speedpaint & it seemed that where there was water covering the hair per day, it was that one stroke of solid color, rather than some translucency. the water just seemed i have a lack of reflection. the shadows didn't seem to stay in order, they were just kind of there. there wasn't much of a source. the anatomy did look very nice though, considering you don't draw boys often. C: the positioning looked very natural & well rounded. the lips looked a bit more like flaps of skin. there wasn't any coloring or indication of lips. i didn't mind that much though, it still was obvious they were kissing. xD his abs were a bit more flat & linearty, but that's not the first thing i noticed. overall, the picture looked very nice with a lot of technique, but of course, there are always a few flaws in every photo. : D

Well, this my first critique. First off, I really like this piece. It is one of my favourites by you, and it is quite amazing. I guess I will explain my ratings of your piece in detail.
Vision: You have done a very good job with expressing the overall theme of this drawing. (4.5 stars)
Originality: There is nothing wrong with drawing a kissing pose, but it's been done before, obviously. That's why it's not completely original, but it doesn't mean that it is bad! (3 stars)
Technique: The only thing is the anatomy, really. How the lips line up, the hands. Just the little things. In this piece though, I saw a lot of improvement with your anatomy. It is quite good! And besides. We all need to work on improving our anatomy in our drawings. Who doesn't? There's always room for improvement.
Also, I think you should have made them have slightly different skin tones, and maybe use a different hue for the shades of the skin. (like, the darkest shade will be more red, then more orange for less dark etc...)

Impact: Wow. When I first saw this I just thought that it was so romantic and well executed... It just has a nice atmosphere. I love all of the little floaty bits of light and petals and whatnot in the background and around them. It looks like they are in their own little world! asdfghjkl so cute! (5 stars)
Overall, this piece is fabulous. Well done! I like it a lot, and you should be proud. Keep striving to improve your skills!

It's not that they're tan. It's that their skin tones are the same. I meant to say that their skin tones should have been slightly different from each other. Whoops! I hope people read this comment so they know what I mean! Not that there's anything wrong with that, but usually no two people have the exact same skin tone (generally speaking). Especially a guy and a girl.

I really like the drawing but I`m not sure I have much room to critique. I really love the lighting and the colors. I can definitely tell that you put a lot of effort into it. The shading is wonderful as well. My only comment would be that some places look a little overexposed, as in there`s too much light. I feel it washes out the parts of the drawing that have that element to them (Music`s hair?). I think if it was a little less exposed to light, it would be perfect. :3 otherwise, it`s a wonderful piece of work. :3
