thanks all my nebulas are single fractals

Very nicely done. Can you tell me how you get started and what version of apophysis you are using.

first things first
i used Apophysis 2.08 3D hack for that.
and how it started? as always i open apophysis clicked on one basic fractal and just use spherical variation i think (it's not always that easy but this one was ). then just rendered it and edited in Photoshop. nothing complicated

OK, thanks. I will have to play with it to get there.

It looks really great! What program do you use to render your nebulae?

thanks
basic shape is rendered in Apophysis then overpainted as needed in Photoshop

you need help with that just ask if you made really good apo render then you don't have to do much in photoshop

Looks pretty well done, I can never figure out how to do proper nebulae in Apophysis. Great job

thanks
and there is no way how to do "proper" nebula in Apophysis its always trials and errors you have fractal which look promising and in the end it's worth nothing this nebula have to be stars in the begining for example

Hi MilayΒ

Do you have a certain procedure/steps to get the stars in the beginning and then to get fractals that are suited for space art? It takes me a really long time (sometimes 3-4) to come across fractals that I want and it gets to be a pain in the neck with the amount of time it takes to get one that is suitable for space art needs so I was just wondering if you figured out an easier way. Or maybe there's a tutorial you can point me towards that maybe I missed?

sorry nothing certain as far as i know only things i know is that certain variations (Foci, Spherical and sometimes curl and swirl) yield better results than other. i always going throug batch of 50 fractals and try diferent variations and sometimes play with editor too. there is tut HERE portador-de-tormenta.deviantar… its a tut how to make nice looking starfield in Apophysis 7X with just 3 variation and few triangles hope that helps a bit
