the eyes of both, mother and baby, are the first thing i sow.
they are cute!
the mother looking strait to my eyes, and her expression is like: "please dont hurt my baby!"
the baby's expression is: "coucou, can we play?"
the colors in their fur is realy nice!
its a good piece!! is it possible you did not care much about the background?
i know you can do better...and its looks like you was rushing. but maybe its so with water colors - that you need to do it fast?

you took away some of the bush on the left side. and gave the gorilla more light arround her body, right?
its looking better now, because its less crowded with the plants there.
this way the gorilla and baby get "out to the front".[like to be a star on a stage]

i try always to have lighter [or darker] its dependet if the subject rim is in a darker colors, then by paintin how you did now...like giving a light arround...you can see how its looking better. its like to separerad the subject from the backgroung with the lighter color. right?

You always see something when looking at a piece of work. When I finished this work, I had wanted to name it...What are you looking at, due to the mother monkey's eyes looking at me

there is no low by calling your artwork by any title you wish, with ? and ! waht ever you feel like! its your art work, and you do with it what you want.
you always giving your subjects meaningful expressions, just as this one... and thats whats making your work more interesting beside your talent!
thats the negative things about water colors...that if you make dirt on the paper you force to paint something else that you was planing.

Aww you misunderstood my words, I did not mean DA did not allow the title I had in mind. It's just the computer system does not accept some marks like question mark (?), exclamation mark (!). So any title with such marks will appear sans marks. Thank you for your kind words always, I have been lucky with expressions, for I did not do anything special to achieve expressions
