This is a piece I completed for my Art History II course as part of a set entitled "Heroes: A Reinvention of Art Past," in which I took present-day comic book heroes and placed them into various visual art movements and implemented various visual art styles throughout history.This piece depicts a night scene with Batman overlooking Gotham City and is modeled closely after Vincent Van Gogh's famous "Starry Night."
