I just recently passed both the game and the DLC (after a year of resisting it). I'm still freaked out every time I'm chased by this guy. Ponification would just SLIGHTLY make it less scary

I think every pony in Mount Massive would have shattered cutie marks. In the MLP/TF2 fanfic called Waking Nightmares, they describe three cutie mark related afflictions. Cutie Pox, which is canon, Cutie shift, when a pony is traumatized so that they are forced to change talents, and the worst is Cutie Fracture. The symptom is a cutie mark that appears to have been broken apart. Like with Cutie shift, Cutie fracture occurs when a pony has been tortured and traumatized until they literally cannot perform their special talent, but they can't even change to a new one. All recorded cases of Cutie Fracture end with the patient committing suicide.
