Or one of her babies. It was supposed to be one of the babies, but I keep calling her Kevin.Even before I found out that was having a Pixar challenge, I have been wanting to make a Kevin, I just knew it would be a challenge. It was either her or Dug. The face was hard! I tried so many different strategies trying to get the mouth formed, gave up, then eventually settled on this.
There are some changes I want to make before I think about typing a pattern, like bringing the colored back-pattern over the belly more (by the way, the body is brushed. Would have liked it to be a bit more fluffy, but I only had regular worsted yarn, and I didn't want to be too aggressive with it). The antenna/peacock feather things are pipe-cleaners wrapped with yarn. I learned that I suck at wrapping, but I like the results.

Thanks! I'm glad he sits on upright on his own. I couldn't get the beak/face quite the way I wanted it, but hey, sacrifices must be made.

Aww he is very flufy :3 His face is just not to my standards, I probably need to give him a tounge and mouth or else he just doesn't look right. OOOh I'm so jealous since I have wanted to make Kevin at the back of my mind but maybe someday for my kids or something
