When I heard that David Bowie died, I knew that the world had lost a very important figure, but to be honest, I wasn't at all familiar with his work. I wanted to see what I was missing. Luckily, we live in a glorious age where people can catch up on 40+ years of music withing the span of a few weeks. Not sure if that's the healthiest way to do it, because I dove in to everything Bowie and I've watched interviews and read up all about him and he's so talented and lovely and I'm completely in love and it's rather painful. I didn't think I would fall this hard.

But drawing his face helps. And after nearly 5 separate attempts, this one is satisfying.

I'm sad that I missed him while he was alive, but I'm so very glad that I know him now.
