I said Rouge was next! =]This is Rouge in her red Christmas party dress! Red looks good on her. That's kind of ironic, given that her name is the French word for red! Hehe. Anyway, I like drawing her. There are lots of smooth lines, like on her wings and stuff. It would have seemed more bat-like to make the wings black and purple, but I made them purple and pink instead because the colors were brighter. (The black and purple seemed a little dark for the holidays, I think.)
I love drawing hands! XD
Anyhow, please don't give me a hard time about her feet and shoes there. I have trouble drawing high-heels or anything like that, but I thought strappy platform thingies would suit her. And my Christmas break started today! Hooray! Happy holidays, everybody, and thank you for looking!

I must say, this is quite a different outlook on the character of Rouge, definitely a refreshing change from her usual wardrobe of.. erm... 'suggestive' clothing that we see her in in both video-games and fanart alike. My compliments to your creative Rouge piece.
The first thing that came to mind when observing this piece is Rouge's attitude. Her pose, facial expression and clothing seem to suggest a more 'motherly' feel to her, which i think actually fits her quite nicely. It is great to observe all of the creative ideas you have expressed in her clothing here, i particularly like her shoes, you were right when you said that those strappy-platformy shoes would suit her, because indeed they do.
I've always like the holiday colour scheme of green, white, red and gold, and as such it is very pleasing to the eye to see how you have carefully arranged such colours on her outfit into a scheme that doesn't look as if too much of one colour is being used for any of it to be a highlight, but then again all of your winter/holiday themed pieces have always shown great use of the seasonal colours. Likewise your use of colour in general shines once again through the simple notion of re-colouring Rouge's wings to be that purple-pink combination instead of the black and purple/pink combination, it definitely works better with her outfit, black wings would have looked ut of place and perhaps even like they were simply 'tacked on' at the end of the piece, so congratulaitons to you for making a wise decision on such a simple, yet important part of the picture.
Tiny highlights such as the bell in her ear, the holly at her hair and the gold bracelets at her wrists (This was particularly nice because it show's some of Rouge's personality shining through your outfit you designed, she loves shiny things doesn't she? XD) make this piece all the more pleasing overall in terms of creative value.
The only thing i can really see that i could nitpick about would be the fact that she seems too tall, but that is barely something i should really be commenting on because this looks so great anyway, and Sonic characters actually look quite good when drawn taller by many artists, you included of course!
Well done, this is a great holiday piece. Possibly my favourite of your holiday sonic characters thus far, there is just something about the way you have potrayed Rouge here that makes this piece seem to stand out, even though i like all of your holiday sonic character pictures! That is just my preference anyhow.

Rouge doesn't seem as common for fanart as much as the other Sonic characters, so yeah, gives more ideas for her. :] I love how you drew her wings well spread out and all. Dislike the shoes? I like how they turned out. o_o; Really not bad at all, so don't worry about it.
